No, absolutely not! Our solution is made of the highest quality, natural ingredients. All of our technicians have also been trained and certified!
Please visit our Tan Care page to find out the proper steps that need to be followed before your spray tan.
Choosing what to wear during your spray tan session is entirely up to you—your comfort and the type of tan lines you prefer are what matter most.
We recommend taking into consideration the outfit you’ll be wearing for your event, as this can help you decide what tan lines you want—or don’t want—to show.
At our studio, we accommodate all preferences, whether you’d like to go fully nude or opt for some coverage. If you’d prefer to wear something during your session, popular choices include a one-piece or two-piece swimsuit, or just bottoms while going topless.
For those unsure or looking for added convenience, we also offer disposable options including pasties, bandeaus, and thong bottoms.
The entire process takes about 30 minutes, from start to finish.
We recommend waiting 6 to 8 hours before your initial rinse, and 24 hours before taking your first full shower with body wash.
Before your first rinse, avoid any activities that may get your spray tan wet, such as exercising, doing dishes, or being exposed to rain.
Be sure to wear a loose, long-sleeve shirt and loose long pants to prevent sweat marks in areas that may crease. Please avoid sleeping naked or in short sleeves and shorts.
When it’s time to rinse, use water only—no soap or body wash.
To maintain your glow, moisturize with a spray-tan-safe lotion twice a day.
The typical spray tan will last 7-10 days with proper care and upkeep. Â It is important to follow the steps listed on our Tan Care page to get the best quality tan possible.
We do offer spray tans for expecting ladies. As every pregnancy is different, we recommend consulting your doctor before getting any beauty service while pregnant.
Tan Care
Here is what you do before your spray tan:
- Start using spray tan-safe body wash and lotion at least 2 to 3 weeks before your appointment, or as soon as you book if your appointment is less than 2 to 3 weeks away.
- If time permits, begin exfoliating with a Korean exfoliating mitt 2 to 3 weeks prior, and plan your final exfoliation 24 to 48 hours before your appointment.
- If you are tanning for your wedding day, consider scheduling a professional Korean exfoliating treatment at a spa 1 to 2 days before your spray tan for optimal results.
- Your final shower before the appointment should be water-only (no soap) and completed at least 6 to 8 hours in advance.
- If you’re doing a trial or scheduling a tan for your wedding, choose a rehearsal dress that won’t rub against your skin, to avoid any marks on your shoulders or body before the big day.
- Shave or wax and exfoliate 24 to 48 hours prior to your appointment using an exfoliating glove—this step is especially important. Focus on areas like the neck, underarms, knees, elbows, and ankles, as these tend to have more dry skin buildup.
- Do not apply lotion after your shower on the day of your appointment.
- Please arrive with no makeup, deodorant, or body oils on your skin.
